I have been working on my Fall movies list for years! There are so many amazing fall movie to watch, I’m sharing my favorite Fall movies to watch list with you so you don’t miss any of them this fall! Add these movies to your Fall movie bucket list or to your lineup for your next Fall movie night!

Before we jump into my list, I do want to let you know these are fall vibes movies only. This isn’t a Halloween or Thanksgiving list! Moonrise Kingdom
This is a great early fall late summer movie! Even though it’s about a summer camp, it’s moody and a little dark and has the just right amount of nostalgia for fall.
You’ve Got Mail
This is a classic. I like to watch this one the first weekend in September to really ring in the season. The storyline itself is…problematic. But the vibes are unmatched.
Matilda
Some might categorize Matilda as a Halloween movie but I think it’s perfect for September or November. Sure, there’s magic. But there’s also a new school and an amazing teacher, which I think cancels out the scariness of the movie.
Dead Poets Society
If you’re looking for a fall academia film, Dead Poets Society is it. It’s very dark but I rewatch it almost every year in September. There are some classic lines you just can’t miss.
When Harry Met Sally
This is another Meg Ryan Fall classic. I usually wait until after Halloween to watch this one to get ready for Thanksgiving. I actually hadn’t seen it until a few years ago and now I want to watch it multiple times a season to catch up!
